Facilities at our Lodge

1.  40 meters away from the very popular Umtentweni Main Beach (i.e. within walking distance);

2.  The Umtentweni Beach is generally considered to be one of the safest beaches on the South Coast, i.e. considering the crime element on the South Coast beaches in  recent times;

2.1   The beach offers bathroom – and shower facilities;

2.2   The beach has its own cafeteria & a range of take-out foods can be purchased;

3.  The Tweni Beach Lodge has a 180° seaview, but only from the verandah of the main house;

4.  Lodges are self catering and equipped with all you need to prepare your own meals;

4.1  “Braaivleis” facilities are available on the premises, with evening lighting;

4.2  Lodge 1 has bathroom and shower;

4.3  Lodge 2 has bathroom/ no shower;

5.  The lodges are all equipped with TV and DSTV *PS You are not required to bring along your own Smart Card;

6.  Nearby our Lodge (40 meters - within walking distance) is the very popular Third Avenue Sports Pub and Restaurant;

7.  The Lodge is located approx. 4 km’s from Port Shepstone, the largest town on the South Coast, and we are close to all amenities and a local SPAR & Shopping Center in Umtentweni – 1km away. Pick ‘n Pay in Port Shepstone is 4 km’s away;

8.  The emphasis is for you and your loved ones to enjoy your holiday and to relax mostly – therefore your  clothing & linen will be washed & ironed once a week at an affordable rate of only R75 per batch (5kg), but not on public holidays & Sundays;

9.  Our quoted prices further includes the dish-washing & sweeping/cleaning of your lodge daily, except on public holidays & Sundays;

10. Last, but not least, our Lodge is located in a lovely spacious botanical garden & we offer safe parking & your safety is guaranteed, i.e. we are equipped with CCTV and the Lodge has 24 hours CHUBB armed-response protection;

PS. To book your accommodation, you need to deposit 50% of the price quoted. We will thereafter send you the booking confirmation documentation.

*Please bring such document/s with you as proof of payment for your accommodation booking.
